ABOUT THE JOB As a Software Engineer in the Manufacturing Test organization, you will join a software development team tasked to ensure that we build quality products - in land, sea, and air. These products often involve complex mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems, requiring a deep understanding of hardware-software interaction. You will develop test executive software that can systematically and thoroughly test our products, interacting directly with physical test fixtures, sensors, and actuators, and create analytics to improve our development cycle. You will champion automation, and work to reduce operator time and instruction complexity through the use of parallel execution, data acquisition, and automated deployment tools, always considering the physical constraints and operational needs of the manufacturing line. You will be presented complex, multi-platform problems with heavy reliance on cloud data
