For our locations in Hadamar-Steinbach or Neuwied, we are looking for a committed and future-oriented partner in the area of research and development: Master's student (m/f/d) Monthly stipend, 6 months OR Working Student (m/f/d) 20h, hourly rate, 6 months OR Compulsory intern (m/f/d) 40h, hourly rate, 6 months What tasks await you? Implementation of a practical AI project in the field of computer vision for camera-based employee assistance and in-process quality inspection in production Analysis of an existing manual assembly process as well as identification of typical sources of error, deviations and potential for improvement Research and apply best practices from AI and computer vision (e.g., object detection, completeness checking, anomaly detection) for an industrial proof of concept Collaborate with production staff, quality engineers, manufacturing engineers, and R&D to identify requirements and define clear success criteria Collection and analysis of results (e.g. error reduction, usability feedback) a
