Sales Engineer, Italy (m/f/d) Sales Engineer, Italy (m/f/d) | Work Location (Country) Italy | Remote/Onsite Remote SPECTRO is one of the worldwide leading suppliers of analytical instruments, employing optical emission (stationary and mobile Arc/Spark OES, ICP-OES) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) technology, used for the elemental analysis of materials in industry, research and academia. SPECTRO is a member of the AMETEK Materials Analysis Division. For our Italian team we are looking for a Sales Engineer, who will actively promote, demonstrate and sale SPECTRO products portfolio in Italy. Essential duties & responsibilities The chosen candidate will be responsible for: Increasing SPECTRO market share/ sales volume for a dedicated product line Developing contacts with existing customers and prospects Performing instrument demonstration at customer site Reporting activities and projects in a CRM (Sales Force) Promoting the entire product range and the image of the company using social media, exhibition, press release. Special knowledge, skills and abilities The ideal candidate should: Hold scientific education ideally on materials/metals with additional sales training Have a successful experience of at least 2/3 years in the sale of technical products Be fluent in English and Italian Have a high level of communication/Interpersonal skills (Verbal and written) Be self-motivated, able to work alone and with others Be able to travel domestically and internationally; frequent overnight stays as the needs of the customers in the territory dictate; expected travel requirement will be a
