The Molding Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role supports manufacturing by performing mold changes, process adjustments, product inspections, and routine equipment upkeep. Machine Operation & Production: Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Perform mold changes, tool swaps, and machine adjustments as needed. Start up and shut down molding processes following established procedures. Ensure production meets cycle time, quality, and efficiency targets. Process Control & Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and correct molding issues such as flashing, short shots, burns, and warpage. Adjust machine parameters to optimize performance and reduce scrap. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve process stability and output. Quality Assurance: Inspect molded parts visually and with measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.). Document quality checks and maintain accurate production records.
