About this role
Maintenance Technician Work Location (Country) United States | Remote/Onsite Onsite The Maintenance Technician will support the maintenance department with the strategic and tactical support of the operations at the Eighty Four Plant. The Maintenance Technician will work on both preventive and daily initiatives. They will trouble shoot solutions and a variety of mechanical and electrical issues. The Maintenance Technicians will collaborate with operators to determine root causes of problems as well as conduct basic training of operators. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and has no direct reports. Key Responsibilities: Work safely and comply with all company safety programs. Develop and carry out development improvement programs for equipment and machinery and processes. Responsible for accurate and timely repairs. Understand fully the processes behind each piece of equipment and be able to explain it to others. Form relationships with shop floor operators, AMETEK management, and peers alike. Work closely and communicate with production to manage machine up-time. Assist and support benchmarking activities related to a variety of functions within the industry. Have a customer focus in terms of technical support, quality, and on time delivery. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Technical training is preferred. 18 years of age or older. 3-5 years of related manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. Must be willing to work any shift.
