Director, Software Engineering Work Location (Country) United States | Remote/Onsite Onsite Your Impact: The Director of Software Engineering is a senior technology leader responsible for driving the development and delivery of Rauland's enterprise and platform software solutions. This role leads multiple software engineering teams and plays a critical role in shaping technical strategy, driving execution excellence, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable software in a regulated healthcare environment. Reporting into the DVP of Engineering, the Director partners closely with Product Management, Systems Engineering, Validation & Verification, Cybersecurity, and Quality to translate business strategy into high‑impact software outcomes. This is an opportunity to lead mission‑critical platforms that serve as the backbone for nurse call, enterprise reporting, interoperability, and emerging SaaS and cloud‑based solutions. What You'll Do: Provide strong people and technical leadership for multiple enterprise software engineering teams, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative culture and removing execution or organizational barriers. Lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of complex, regulated healthcare software initiatives, balancing scope, quality, timelines, and resources to achieve predictable release outcomes.
