About this role
Director of Supply Chain Work Location (Country) United States | Remote/Onsite Onsite The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for the success and effectiveness of all Supply Chain Management activities for the business including purchasing, inventory control, production control, scheduling, planning, warehouse, shipping and customer delivery support and meeting strategic priorities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, standardize, and implement the planning/provisioning methodology and supply chain processes across the Region. Responsibilities include materials planning, inventory management, warehousing, shipping, and customer delivery support. Manage department personnel activities related to forecasting materials, material planning, buying, procurement, receipt, storage, and inventory control. Provides support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements. Negotiates with material vendors on sourcing, pricing, and material availability. Interfaces with internal management team and others on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments. Uses equipment and materials properly. Reports potentially unsafe conditions. Other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor's Degree required APICS / CPIM certification preferred Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Aviation/MRO materials management role.
