Degreaser Operator Work Location (Country) United States | Remote/Onsite Onsite Job Summary: Operate degreasing and stamping equipment to produce and clean high quality stamped parts to meet customer quality requirements. Support production by ensuring parts are properly produced, cleaned, inspected, and prepared for downstream processes. Essential Functions: Operate vapor degreasing equipment to clean stamped metal parts per approved process parameters. Verify correct degreasing cycles, temperatures, and solvent conditions before and during operation. Inspect cleaned parts for cleanliness, staining, residue, or damage and escalate issues when necessary. Set up, operate, and monitor metal stamping presses according to work instructions, job cards, and production schedules. Submit samples for first‑piece, in‑process, and final visual inspections to ensure parts meet dimensional and cosmetic requirements. Monitor press operation for quality, tooling condition, and equipment performance; stop and report issues as required. Perform routine cleaning, basic tooling changes, adjustments, and preventive maintenance as trained. Accurately complete production, scrap, and downtime documentation. Identify and report safety hazards, quality issues, and process improvement opportunities. Cross‑train on additional equipment or processes to support production flexibility.
