Depending on industry background and regional terminology, this role may also be recognized as a Manufacturing Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Process Planning Engineer, or Production Readiness Engineer. The Mechatronics team builds full-stack innovation that ensures fulfillment and delivery network safety, speed, optimization, sustainability and value. We tackle big goals for the Amazon business and work hard to make automation history through invention, problem-solving, and highly-engaged teams. We are a global organization, with research and development labs based in Hamme, Belgium, Boston, MA (US) and Milan, Italy. Our development portfolio is focused on automation solutions in packaging, labeling, sortation and material conveyance that provide broad extensibility across Amazon businesses. At our lab in Hamme, Belgium we are looking for a Work preparator position within our production departement. As a Work Preparator, you are the crucial link between the production department and cross-functional project teams. You are responsible for preparing, planning, and monitoring both internal production processes and external deliveries. You ensure seamless execution of production activities within a machining environment where processes such as turning, milling, welding, and sheet metal are applied to manufacture parts.
