About this role
WHS Safety Coordinator - Accommodation Program, WHS - Vendor Accommodation Audit Program Dubai, ARE At Amazon, we are committed to ensuring our partners provide safe, healthy, and dignified living conditions for their workers, and we work with them to deliver continuous improvements and effective compliance programs. As our third-party operations continue to evolve across the UAE, we are seeking dedicated Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinators to support our vendor accommodation audit program and protect the welfare of workers housed in vendor-managed facilities. The ideal candidate will apply Amazon's accommodation compliance standards in practice, lead site-level assessments to drive safety and welfare improvements, and support management's efforts to ensure compliance with all program expectations and applicable regulations. With a proactive and detail-oriented approach, you will help drive a culture of accountability by conducting regular audits, managing compliance metrics, and providing guidance on safety and welfare-related processes across our third-party vendor network. You will play a crucial advisory role for vendors and internal stakeholders, helping investigate non-compliances, escalate critical findings, and implement corrective measures that protect worker welfare. In this role, you will report to the WHS Manager, Amazon Operations. Your responsibilities will evolve with the program and may include, but are not limited to, the following.
