As our 3rd party operations continue to evolve in a demanding work environment, we are seeking a dedicated Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Officer to support our partners in managing health and safety risks and employee wellbeing. The ideal candidate will put safety standards into practice, lead projects to raise safety awareness, and support management's efforts to ensure compliance with all program expectations and applicable regulations. With your proactive approach, you will help drive a safety culture by conducting regular audits, managing safety metrics, and providing guidance on safety-related processes across our 3rd party operations. You will play a crucial advisory role for managers, helping investigate accidents, near misses and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. Key job responsibilities In this crucial WHS position, you'll report to the Country WHS Manager. Tasks will include: • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate safety conditions and provide recommendations for operational improvements • Carry out risk assessments and safety audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and local safety procedures • Monitor and analyze safety metrics, create reports, and review incident trends to identify areas requiring attention • Support implementation of new safety measures and provide guidance on safety-related processes • Ensure compliance with all applicable Amazon supply chain policies and local/regional regulations • Lead
