About this role
UX Researcher II, Global Procurement Technology Bellevue, Washington, USA Amazon's Global Procurement Organization is on a mission to transform how procurement works at Amazon scale. We build the technology that powers billions of dollars in purchasing decisions, and we need a UX Research & Design Lead to shape the future of that experience. In this role, you will: - Lead end-to-end UX research and design for both external-facing and internal-facing procurement tools used across Amazon's global operations. - Conduct user research, usability studies, and data analysis to deeply understand customer needs and translate insights into design decisions. - Leverage AI and emerging technologies to simplify complex user journeys, drive efficiency, and reimagine how teams interact with procurement systems - Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous, large-scale problems into intuitive experiences - You'll spend the majority of your time (75%) planning and conducting user research - from generative discovery through evaluative testing - to uncover how people understand, trust, and interact with AI systems. The remaining 25% of your time will be hands-on UX design work, translating research insights into interaction concepts, prototypes, and design artifacts. *Why you'll love it here:* Our team thinks big and moves fast. We're passionate about innovating on behalf of our customers and tackling problems at a scale few organizations ever encounter. We leverage AI in all aspects of our job and think creatively to create the right digital solutions to power procurement at Amazon. You'll work in a fast paced environment
