UX Researcher II - AMZ22666.4 Arlington, Virginia, USA Employer: Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. Position: UX Researcher II - AMZ22666.4 Location: Arlington, VA Multiple Positions Available: 1.Own and drive end-to-end user & strategic research studies across multi-ple highly technical AWS product verticals. 2. Design and execute strategic user research projects leveraging a blend of qualitative (e.g., cognitive walkthroughs, ethnographic studies, and semi-structured interviews) and quantitative (e.g., large scale surveys, customer telemetry data, and A/B testing) methodologies to uncover actionable cus-tomer insights at scale that improve the end user experience. 3. Identify the best research methods and questions to optimize phases of research: defining research objectives, target users, protocol development, data collection, analysis, and synthesis across the product development lifecycle with business goals, timelines, and resourcing in mind. 4. Perform quick but thorough analysis to create actionable findings and communicate timely results and opportunities. 5. Interpret behavioral interaction data to inform both UI/UX decisions and product feature updates. 6. Provide a wide variety of stakeholders in Product, Design, Engineering and Data Science insights into market opportunities and work backward from the customer to understand features, detailed functional requirements, and end user needs. 7. Manage a queue of multiple simultaneous studies and projects - some of which you lead, some of which are led by designers, PMs, engineers, and others. 8. Mentor and assist others in implementing large and small portions of the end-to-end research process (e.g., forming objectives, observing sessions, analysis, reporting). 9. Raise UX and research fluency throughout the organization
