Key responsibilities include: • Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including the root cause analysis of problem areas • Streamline logistics in the operation through the implementation of standard work and team leadership • Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates • Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools Key job responsibilities Transportation Operations Management (TOM) oversees trailer yard operations at 13 Fulfillment Centers (FC), 3 Sort Centers (SC) and 1 Cross Dock (IXD) across Mexico, ensuring yard safety, efficient trailer movement, and guard shack operations management. TOM is the main focal point between Site Operations and Transportation Network. TOM is part of Amazon Transportation Services (ATS), a high-powered dynamic team shaping the middle-mile transportation execution and developing innovative transportation management concepts to improve and enhance the ATS Network to ultimately drive the best customer experience in a reliable and cost-efficient manner, every time.
