About this role
Technical infrastructure program manager, AGIS Interconnection - APAC SGP AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure, providing the foundation that keeps the cloud running. We deliver and maintain the comprehensive infrastructure ecosystem including interconnection services, caching solutions, and network capacity that ensures our customers have continuous access to AWS services. You'll join a dynamic team of technical professionals within the Global Connectivity Infrastructure Development (GCID) organization as a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM). You'll be responsible for managing regional interconnection programs and implementing workflows. You'll support regional initiatives including interconnection solutions implementation, business automation tools deployment, and cache optimization. In this role, you will execute regional strategies alongside Business Development teams to optimize traffic management and interconnection delivery. You'll coordinate with external partners on capacity planning, implement upgrades within established frameworks, and develop utilization reports. Through methodical execution, you'll manage regional interconnection projects while adapting existing processes for improved efficiency. Your ability to identify risks within established parameters and implement mitigation plans will be essential. You'll maintain clear documentation, engage effectively with stakeholders, and support knowledge sharing initiatives. The role requires collaboration across time zones while knowing when to seek guidance on complex decisions. This position requires someone who can work independently within defined frameworks, build strong relationships with partners, and implement solutions to problems.
