System Dev Engineer - Power , Amazon Leo Redmond, Washington, USA Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. We are seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to join the satellite power systems team. You will be responsible for development of automation tools to determine power system health across a constellation of over 3000 satellites and execute operational response/runbooks to troubleshoot and solve in-flight anomalies. The Power System Dev Engineer will be responsible for the development of operational automation including telemetry acquisition, processing, and response runbooks. You will serve as a critical liaison between Amazon Leo's Mission Operations and the Power System Design Engineering team, executing approved operational responses. This role combines hands-on operational support with the continuous improvement of processes and automated operational capabilities for the Amazon Leo Power System.
