System Admin/Engr III - AMZ9673892 Arlington, Virginia, USA MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Employer: AMAZON DEVELOPMENT CENTER U.S., INC., Offered Position: System Admin/Engr III Job Location: Arlington, Virginia Job Number: AMZ9673892 Position Responsibilities: Solve complex Microsoft Exchange and related email infrastructure, as well as architectural challenges, at scale with limited guidance while maintaining a strategic view of Exchange systems and organizational email architecture. Demonstrate deep technical knowledge across Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Exchange Online, and M365 components along with all related client access protocols. Collaborate on the implementation and deployment of enterprise-level production Exchange environments, influence email system best practices, and actively contribute to Exchange infrastructure planning and strategy. Ensure Exchange servers are secure, scalable, and highly available, with robust disaster recovery capabilities and load balancing configurations. Automate, via PowerShell or other languages, e-mail operations to ensure high levels of operational efficiency and excellence. Deliver Exchange solutions while mentoring junior team members on Exchange administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures. Participate in Exchange design discussions, conduct implementation reviews of Exchange updates and migrations, and ensure Exchange documentation accuracy while fostering constructive dialogue within the team. Maintain strong relationships with business units and partner teams, understand email service requirements deeply, and help balance user experience with system stability. Strengthen teams while ensuring Exchange operations can continue smoothly through exchange expertise and leadership.
