Last Mile seeks a Supply Chain Manager, Capacity Planning to lead in the space of capacity planning across traditional and crowd sourced delivery service and sort models. Responsibilities: - Leading end-to-end network initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. - Developing the network strategy for new initiatives - Analyzing data, automate tasks and build visualizations to communicate strategy to leadership using technical tools such as SQL, python, Tableau, and Excel - Defining metrics to measure and monitor supply chain performance, inbound flows and transportation metrics - Interacting with and influencing field operations leaders. - Working with Research Scientists and Data Engineers to develop planning models to optimize for cost while meeting capacity needs. - Working with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth of the business. *Role available in Bellevue, WA, Austin, TX, or Nashville, TN Key job responsibilities - Perform system and process analysis to root cause issues within existing systems and recommend improvements. - Write business documents to communicate ideas / issues and align stakeholders on path forward. - Partner with stakeholders across the company to lead, support, and influence new initiatives. - Lead strategic initiatives related to network capacity within Amazon's various business units. - Concentrate on optimizing and managing the flow of goods, information, or services within the supply chain network. - Balance supply and
