Amazon Air is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to push our air transportation strategy to the next level. This includes the transition to a majority next-day delivery network, the evolution of AIR's network structure and fleet strategy, growing an external Air Cargo product, and building business cases for new aviation technologies. Key job responsibilities - Leading mid- and long-term network planning initiatives for Amazon Air - Serving as key point of contact for other business units (e.g. ground transportation, fulfillment centers, last mile, etc.). - Developing capacity plans and shaping network strategy, while driving continuous improvement across customer experience, cost, and sustainability metrics - Program management for capital and operational planning including developing timelines, engaging stakeholders, identifying risks and developing contingencies. - Evaluating tradeoffs on the mechanisms to solve for customer needs and cost in order to drive consensus across partner teams (Finance, Operations, Process Engineering, Procurement, etc.). - Partnering with Research Science & Technology as a subject matter expert to create new planning and forecasting tools. -
