Supply Chain Manager Austin, Texas, USA o Provides Logistics support across major operations company-wide (Perishables Purchasing) o Contributes to development of the organization's overall supply and logistics strategy. o Supports various launch activities by performing services including:  Attends and participates in regional, national and inter-team meetings  Maintaining OneNote updates (SOP's)  Forecasting - Logistics o Identifies, evaluates and capitalizes on opportunities to reduce costs by improving buying patterns and supply channels through collaboration with purchasing o Accurately manages email flow, maintains good records of communications and provides documentation as required to support inquires and help with issue resolution o Compiles data, ensures accuracy and performs in-depth analysis as needed o Analyzes and interprets data results and communicates findings to the team o Communicates all relevant information and keeps everyone on the same page at all times; fosters collaboration with the group to lower cost of goods to WFM o Assists with the development of new reporting tools to be used by buying teams (global and regional, to support purchasing operational needs and executive decision-making) o Prepares materials and supports buyer communication as needed o Monitors the functional activity processes and outcomes; recommends areas for continuous improvement o With oversight, performs the truck forecasting tasks, particularly for holiday planning o Assists with managing transportation carriers o Supports team leadership by communicating truck planning issues, interpreting weekly reports and resolving arrival conflicts o Communicates, represents, and upholds WFM's core values and business philosophy to Team Members and vendor/supply/carrier partners o
