As a member of our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team, you will have an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to that goal and grow a safe environment for our customers and employees. The WHS Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) team is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager to lead the Europe and Rest of World Safety Culture and Leadership team vertical. This role will lead a dynamic, global team that drives the strategic growth and success of employee programs and initiatives within the WESE Employee Safety Experience team. This includes working cross-functionally with operations, communications, human resources, legal, and regional WHS teams on processes designed to sustain Amazon's Safety Culture globally. Key job responsibilities The ideal candidate will be adept at working in a fast-paced environment, have a strong safety background, demonstrate effective strategic planning and decision making, and be able to drive change by influencing others. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented, have experience in collaborating with business and field teams, be customer obsessed, and excel at interpreting multiple data points. This position requires an experienced, customer-obsessed leader with experience deploying programs in EU or ROW and is familiar with the intricate differences in global safety culture.
