The Senior Mechanical Process Engineer (MPE) - Injection Molding works closely with teams located in both the US and China throughout the design cycle. As a member of the MPE team, you will be responsible for developing injection molding processes for mechanical parts, providing DFM (Design for Manufacturability) recommendations to the design team (ID & PD), driving mold engineering studies, and improving part yield rate and cosmetic quality. You will also be responsible for closely monitoring and driving the above activities at injection molding suppliers. In addition, you will work closely with the PE TPM (Product Engineering Technical PM) team on giving timely feedback of technical risk related to molding processes, and continuous communication of the status of engineering issues throughout the product development cycle to a cross-functional audience. You will be the primary contact window for injection molding technical issue resolution across the supply base.
