About this role

Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, APAC Mech DE Sydney, New South Wales, AUS Be part of a team that's responsible for designing and delivering capacity for the world's best data centre services across the globe. You'll have the opportunity to work with a constant stream of new technologies and products, and experience opportunities to learn and grow while being surrounded by a motivated and diverse team. In this role you will drive Mechanical Engineering services design, construction and implementation of enterprise data centers, which meet quality and performance levels across the globe. You will work directly with our Design Engineering Stakeholders, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams within your assigned region in APAC. You will be the Mechanical Engineering representative on behalf of the Data Center Engineering Team responsible for the successful delivery of projects. You will assist in Data Center site selection, planning, development. You will maintain the highest performance standards and utilize innovation to reduce PUE, water consumption, CAPEX and increase efficiency. As an experienced Mechanical Engineer you will evaluate different cooling systems and make a data driven decision about a suitable solution based on our guidelines. You will be an integral part of our work to change the world through technology.
