Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) within Amazon Leo is developing secure, high-performance satellite communications technologies that support U.S. National and International security and defense. This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed. 10037 Key job responsibilities We are looking for an exceptional engineering leader to join us as a Senior Manager, leading the software architecture, design, implementation and integration of ALG developed device endpoints. These devices enable Government customer required RF, Optical and Network layer connectivity with Amazon Leo system, and integrate with ground solutions, network solutions, ALG business and operational support systems. This role is responsible for designing, building out, and maintaining foundational software that extends Amazon Leo capabilities to US Government customers such as NASA, DoD, other National Security customers, and International Government customers. You will own developing and delivering software for mission critical space safety and sustainability applications which will automatically coordinate with external systems and organizations rapidly, reliably, and at scale.
