Lab126 began in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., originally creating the best-selling Kindle family of products. Since then, we have produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create? The Role: As a Sr. Connectivity Systems Engineer, you will: - Define wireless architecture for consumer electronics devices - Define key performance metric and drive modeling efforts to predict end-to-end system performance - Perform gap analysis and system performance optimization across radio, PHY, MAC, firmware and software. Basic Qualifications: - Experience in communication theory, OFDM, MIMO, Digital/Wireless Communication Systems or RF engineering - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - Experience in Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee/WAN/GPS/UWB or NFC - Experience with scripting languages and simulation tools such as Python/MatLab, and etc. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field - Experience developing PHY/MAC layer HW/SW targeting SoCs, FPGAs, and general-purpose processors - Experience in wireless system design and architecture, system integration, and RF system analysis - Experience in RFIC or Custom wireless chipset development Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
