Key job responsibilities As a Sr. Commodity Manager, you will: - Develop and execute a comprehensive commodity technology roadmap that aligns business needs with supplier capabilities, anticipating future trends in semiconductor technologies. - Own the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and lead the supplier lifecycle from selection and qualification to cost & contract negotiation and performance evaluation. - Stay ahead of industry trends by analyzing market drivers, cost structures, technical innovations, and competitive landscapes to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities. - Drive cost-reduction initiatives through rigorous analysis, value engineering, and fostering competitive sourcing environments. Collaborate with engineering to influence design decisions for optimal cost and performance. - Collaborate closely with Engineering teams and other cross functional teams to influence technical design decisions, ensuring they meet expectations, technical capabilities, and business objectives - Develop and maintain a robust risk mitigation strategy, addressing potential supply chain disruptions and ensuring business continuity. - Lead periodic business reviews to evaluate supplier performance and align on strategic business objectives. - Interface with Planning and Program Management teams to
