Sr. Application Builder North Reading, Massachusetts, USA The Ring team is looking for a passionate and talented Sr. Android Software Development Engineer who has experience building world-class mobile apps. You will be responsible for developing mobile applications that interact seamlessly with our devices and delight our customers. You will join a team that owns some of the most important functionality in the Ring app. With a huge audience and an exciting roadmap, this is a rare opportunity to shape the community experience for millions of users. Our goal is to provide the best possible experience to our customers, building solutions and supporting new products that help Ring on their mission to make neighborhoods safer. Key job responsibilities - Lead the technical design and development of platform capabilities that support Ring mobile applications - Lead the evolution of our application architecture, addressing deficiencies and driving scalability - Develop platform tooling, SDKs, and shared components using Android Studio, Kotlin, AI, and a variety of other technologies - Develop with performance, quality, and reliability in mind - Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to design, build, and deliver platform solutions - Ensure operational excellence by resolving platform issues, improving build systems, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation across the mobile platform - Use AI to deliver efficiently - this can include generating code, unit tests, documentation, tickets, resolving defects, optimizing code, and much more - Develop the best in your fellow builders A day in the life -
