Software Development Engineer - Neptune, The AWS In-Memory Databases Console Team Dublin, IRL The In-Memory and Emerging DB organization drives innovation across Amazon's managed database services, owning and evolving the management consoles that serve over 295,000 monthly active users. Our console team spans five distinct database services - ElastiCache, MemoryDB, DocumentDB, Timestream, and Neptune - and this role is dedicated to the Neptune Console Amazon Neptune is a fast, scalable, fully-managed graph database service used by thousands of customers worldwide. Neptune powers a rich variety of graph use cases including recommendation engines, fraud prevention, knowledge graphs, and drug discovery. The service supports both the Resource Description Framework (RDF) and property graph data models, along with their respective query languages. This is a unique opportunity to shape the customer-facing console experience for one of the fastest-growing graph database services in the industry. Most days, our entire team is co-located in the Dublin office, but support occasional remote work if needed. We generally keep core in-office hours from 10am to 4pm and provide flexibility for people to structure their working hours around them. We don't like to get paged in the middle of the night or on weekends; so we investigate operational gaps on a weekly basis, proactively root-cause issues and fix them for good.
