Software Development Engineer II, Direct Fulfilment Bengaluru, Karnataka, IND Join a talented team of software engineers and technical leaders dedicated to reaching the next billion customers. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, complex challenges as we scale our systems to support new and rapidly growing India and emerging marketplaces. As a software engineer on the team, you will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of solutions that enable our Direct Fulfillment (DF) model. DF allows vendors to ship products directly to customers on behalf of Amazon. This requires building systems that can reliably work end-to-end for emerging and global marketplaces and enable seamless customer experiences. Key job responsibilities You will be a technical leader to drive the - Designing and developing highly reliable, scalable, and distributed systems. - Delivering quality features on-time and execution against project plans and delivery commitments. - Working with team members to manage the day-to-day development activities, participate in designs, design review, code review, implementation, and operational excellence. - Engaging and working with customers and dependencies to ensure the quality delivery. - Mentoring other engineers - Maintaining current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, always on a look out for new technologies and work with the team in bringing in new technologies. - Launch products to India as well as world-wide marketplaces About the team Direct Fulfillment
