Our team also works on other high-profile consumer electronics products including Fire TV, Kindle, and the Echo family of devices. We are looking for talented and motivated embedded software development engineer to join the team, innovate and build next generation Amazon Echo devices that deliver intuitive and intelligent voice assistant to millions of customers with many exciting features! Key job responsibilities • Building software that enables integration of Alexa voice and multi-modal services into compelling applications that run on millions of Echo family devices, and Alexa-enabled Devices. • Driving engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc.) and setting high standards by taking proactive measures to fix deficiencies and make continous improvement of end product. • Maintain constant focus on energy and memory efficiency to deliver superior products while reducing customers' costs and environmental footprint • Adopting, innovating, and driving efficiencies using Gen AI tools and practices throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment. • Contribute to the professional growth of team members through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and promoting engineering best practices A day in the life In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment with internal and external teams to bring new silicon and peripheral technologies to life.
