About this role

Software Dev Engineer II, LEO Pop DataPlane Sunnyvale, California, USA Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. In this role as a SDE II, you will be part of the core technical team building the ground based traffic processing pipelines for connecting Kuiper's satellite network to the external world. This opportunity will afford you an exciting SDE role in Amazon Leo that would enable you to architect and build software from the ground up and drive the engineering culture of the team. Based on the nature of work on this job, data networking related experience is a big plus, like TCP/IP, routing, switching or packet processing. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
