Senior Supply Chain Manager, Global Procurement Organization (GPO) Nashville, Tennessee, USA Amazon's Global Procurement Organization (GPO) seeks a Senior Supply Chain Manager to drive strategic initiatives across procurement operations. This position leads complex, cross-functional projects that optimize processes, enhance operational efficiency, and build organizational capabilities at scale. The Senior Supply Chain Manager architects scalable solutions and drives operational excellence across organizational projects, special projects, and transformation initiatives within procurement operations. This role requires deep expertise in supply chain management, strong analytical capabilities, and proven ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels, connecting tactical execution to strategic outcomes that advance GPO's mission. Key job responsibilities • Lead complex initiatives independently with minimal guidance, working both tactically and strategically across GPO operations at country, regional, and cross-regional levels • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Transportation, Procurement, Finance, Risk, Business Strategy, Technology, and Engineering to deliver business transformations from initiation through successful implementation • Create mechanisms and metrics to track performance, measure benefit realization, and drive continuous improvement across the organization • Analyze complex data using advanced Excel, SQL, and database tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for strategic improvement • Influence organizational goals by working across multiple stakeholder teams, functions, and leaders, extending influence across teams • Lead process improvements by proposing network-wide solutions that improve and drive operational excellence best practices • Provide strategic direction and serve as escalation point for complex challenges, finding paths forward in difficult situations About the team The Global Procurement Organization manages procurement
