Senior Maintenance Technician, Amazon Leo MFG Operations Support (L4) Redmond, Washington, USA Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Amazon LEO is seeking a Senior Maintenance Specialist to perform hands-on maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production-critical equipment. This role owns rapid fault isolation, preventive maintenance execution, compliance with safety standards, and mentoring junior technicians through on-the-job knowledge sharing. Key job responsibilities - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems including motors, servos, conveyors, VFDs, PLC-connected equipment, and automation systems to minimize downtime - Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability - Perform fault isolation to identify root causes, prevent recurring failures, and systematically execute repairs - Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical literature to guide maintenance activities - Install, repair, adjust, and test electro-mechanical equipment and components to verify proper system function - Execute all repairs in compliance with NEC and OSHA standards - Communicate with machine operators to detect problems, analyze malfunctions, and verify system issues - Mentor and cross-train maintenance technicians to build team capability - Partner with engineering and operations on equipment upgrades and reliability improvements - Document maintenance activities, repairs, and findings accurately and in a timely manner - Manage spare parts inventory for critical equipment
