Senior Corporate Counsel - Operations & Transportation Legal, Brazil International Stores Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, BRA Amazon Brazil Legal is looking for an experienced, strategic, and motivated attorney to support our rapidly growing operations and logistics businesses in Brazil. Key job responsibilities - Provide strategic legal counsel to operations, logistics, and transportation teams across Brazil - Navigate complex Brazilian transportation and logistics regulations, including cargo transportation licensing, fleet programs, and last-mile delivery operations - Negotiate and structure commercial agreements with carriers, logistics providers, and transportation partners - Advise on business strategies and the development of new operations, technical products, and innovative delivery services - Identify and mitigate legal, reputational, and commercial risks - Coordinate with public policy teams and engage directly with Brazilian regulators (ANTT, ANVISA, etc.) - Design and implement permits and compliance frameworks for operations and transportation programs - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal subject matter experts on labor & employment, tax, corporate compliance, and regulatory matters A day in the life The Operations & Transportation Legal team supports Amazon's global logistics and transportation business. You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for supporting the business on commercial and regulatory matters for all operations and logistics in Brazil.
