About this role
RF System Analyst, Amazon Leo Redmond, Washington, USA Amazon LEO is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon LEO will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. As an RF System Analyst, you will help define and verify the performance of our RF systems and phased arrays across different customer terminal and satellite RF systems from antenna and link models to MAC. You'll implement link and system models, run parametric studies, design RF filters and antennas, and work with hardware and firmware teams to align real-world behavior with the models. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing analysis and link model code, building models from first principles, and then walking into the lab to see those models validated on hardware. Key job responsibilities - Implement and maintain link budget and RF system models for key use cases (mobility, fixed, enterprise, gateway, etc.). - Run sensitivity and corner analyses to understand performance margins and drive design tradeoffs. - Help define RF system KPIs and integrate them into automated analysis/reporting pipelines. - Build and maintain simulation scripts and tooling (Python/Matlab, SystemVue/ADS, CST/HFSS) to support architecture reviews. - Partner with antenna, RFIC, and baseband teams to ensure models accurately reflect
