About this role
Public Policy Manager, Economic Policy EU Brussels, Brussels, BEL As the Public Policy Manager for Economic Policy EU, you will be responsible for engaging and partnering with policymakers, regulators, academia and other non-governmental groups in the field, in support of our consumer-centric business model. Key job responsibilities You will do so at the highest levels of government, policy-making and economic regulation community to ensure Amazon can continue providing an innovative and consumer-centric experience. You will plan and lead external advocacy efforts, outreach programmes, partnerships, and initiatives in support of these objectives. You must be creative and able to manage and drive complex projects, and provide clear and confident guidance, including in situations of high ambiguity. You will need to demonstrate an astute understanding of the public policy and regulatory environment for policy and regulation. You will coordinate Amazon's engagement with relevant industry associations and wider coalitions, as well as think tanks and policy-making organisations. You will be able to manage and drive complex projects, but are also able to operate respectfully and collaboratively within wider regional and international structures. This role will work closely with Amazon's public policy, public relations, legal, and business functions to establish the public policy engagement and advocacy agenda and advise relevant business units on the regulatory agenda. You will be able to coordinate efficiently, effectively, and cross-functionally, across Amazon's business, locally and globally, to develop, align and implement appropriate positioning and engagement strategies.
