About this role
Project Engineer Bellevue, Washington, USA Amazon is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Amazon Logistics North America (AMZL NA) Engineering team, part of Amazon's Last Mile organization. The Last Mile team helps get customer packages from delivery stations to a customer's doorstep. This is a unique opportunity to own innovative projects and mechanisms that will advance the intelligence of our last mile business. We are looking for an individual who has experience creating scalable solutions to complex engineering problems. In this role, the Project Engineer will be responsible for designing, managing and executing the next generation of delivery station processes, equipment, and operations. As a customer-obsessed leader, you will play an integral part in planning and implementing delivery station infrastructure, including new builds, retrofits, expansions, and program initiatives. Your critical tasks will include partnering with internal customers and internal/external stakeholders to engage as a team and ensure timely project handover. Key competencies of this position include insisting on the highest standards ensuring that contracted resources meet schedule, budgetary, safety and driving quality targets; analyzing and deep diving systems performance, inventing and simplifying solutions that allow for improved processes and results; and providing technical expertise to internal customers and stakeholders. This position requires up to 85% travel.
