About this role

Program Manager, Transportation Planning, Supply Chain Melbourne, Victoria, AUS This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in an emerging business at Amazon. AU Operations is seeking a Program Manager to join a multicultural team and play a vital role in building a faster delivery network in Australia. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (Fulfillment Center (FC) Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, DEX and more) and must keep up with knowledge of the program road map and vision including taking ownership of the roll out of any standard global planning related technology and process in Australia. Key job responsibilities: - Conduct delivery demand analysis within current and future planned AMZL (Amazon Logistics) delivery jurisdictions to align on attainment targets with AMZL leadership, - Own the weekly routines to take inputs from the FC production plan and develop processes to transform these into origin-destination volume streams that meet volume attainment targets and support production planning in our Delivery Stations, Exchange Points, - Own the implementation of standard AMZL global tools and processesrelated to planning, - Support S&OP planning process with key transportation stakeholders (DS, Linehaul, Flex) to share the plan, communicate changes and likely impacts and align any changes before final publishing, - Lead Peak and Event Planning; coordinating with all stakeholders to lock down the Plan of Record forecast, communicate and align on goals,align capacity levers and contingency plans, own and deliver Readiness and Post Mortem documents, - Support the develop of mid and long term strategic growth
