About this role

Program Manager, Sustainability Mexico City, Mexico City, MEX Amazon is looking for a Program Manager to drive customer solutions on Sustainable Shopping through growth of Amazon's sustainability programs and innovative local solutions relevant to our Mexican customers. You will develop and implement a plan alongside local and global partner teams to deliver strong year-on-year progress toward Amazon's commitments set out in the Climate Pledge. As well as owning this plan for Mexico, you will work closely with sustainability leaders in other countries to leverage scale and best practices. Key job responsibilities 1. Understand customer needs and interests in the sustainability domain and continue to develop a working backwards from customer roadmap. 2. Partner with global and local teams to develop mechanisms for sourcing and merchandising that help to offer a sustainable selection of products to offer to customers, following the Climate Pledge Friendly qualification. 3. Drive growth of packaging-free shipping solutions. 4. Identify opportunities and launch circular economy initiatives around end-of-life programs and recycling. 5.
