Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and the AWS Global Government Delivery Organization (GGDO) team is looking for a motivated Principal Technologist to join our fast-paced organization. The GDDO, manages direct Global Government programs as part of the Worldwide Public Sector business. In this role you will work directly with customers, partners, and AWS service teams to manage technical and business integration challenges in support of US Department of Defense (DoD) Intelligence Community (IC), and other Government programs that rely on the AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing; possess a background in partner and business development; and have proven results within the Intelligence Community (IC) program management space. They will also have demonstrated the ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the skill-set to dive deep and tactically drive business development programs. Excellent communications skills are a must. Candidates are expected to have the ability to write and convey compelling customer value propositions and articulate technical risks, as well as to interface with AWS business units responsible for delivering capabilities to customers.
