About this role
Operations Manager - Sort Center, ATS Cajamar, Sao Paulo, BRA Our Outbound (OB) Manager in a Sort Center is responsible for all budgetary, people development, and operational objectives. The Site Leader oversees all aspects of operations and functions at the site. Key responsibilities include managing and leading a team of sub-area managers, coaching and mentoring them to meet performance objectives, fostering positive employee relations, and developing leadership talent within the Sorting Center. Additionally, the role ensures effective stakeholder management across Delivery Stations, Fulfillment Centers, Safety, Loss Prevention, and Middle Mile teams. Key job responsibilities - Drive quality initiatives, process improvements, and Lean strategies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the Sorting Center meets and exceeds business goals; - Oversee the overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience across Inbound, Processing, or Outbound operations; - Define and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers, measuring their performance, providing feedback, and holding them accountable for their departments' results; - Leverage Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, translating them into actionable improvement plans for the functional area; - Proactively ensure best practices are shared across departments, shifts, and the broader network; - Collaborate closely with support teams (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Senior Operations Managers) to secure resources for projects and initiatives while also providing support for cross-functional initiatives.
