About this role
Mgr SA Data Specialist, Data Mumbai, Maharashtra, IND We are seeking an experienced and customer-obsessed Solution Architect Manager to lead a team of Specialist Solution Architects across Analytics, Database, and Storage domains. In this role, you will be responsible for building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing team that helps AWS customers design and implement world-class data architectures using services such as Amazon Redshift, Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon S3, Amazon OpenSearch, Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, and AWS Lake Formation. You will work at the intersection of technology and business, partnering with sales teams, product groups, and customers to drive adoption of AWS analytics, database, and storage services. You will set the technical vision for your team, define go-to-market strategies, and ensure your SAs are equipped to solve the most complex customer challenges in data management, analytics, and modern data architectures. Key job responsibilities People Leadership & Team Development • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top-tier specialist solution architects across analytics, database, and storage domains • Coach and mentor SAs on technical depth, customer engagement, and career growth • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development planning • Foster an inclusive, high-trust team culture rooted in Amazon Leadership Principles • Build succession plans and develop future leaders within the team Technical Strategy & Customer Impact • Define the technical strategy and go-to-market motion for analytics, database, and storage specialist SAs in the region • Engage directly with strategic customers as an executive sponsor and technical advisor on complex data
