About this role
Infrastructure Delivery – Network Technician Taoyuan City, TWN AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the cabling time and resources - and we're looking for talented people who want to help. You'll join a diverse team which required to interact with software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other stakeholders. You'll collaborate with them to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing network capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. Key job responsibilities - Triage task queue to review requests and changes - Plan and implement the cabling works according to priorities for multiple data centers - Verify the requirements in terms of infrastructure capacity, materials, resources required and lead time - Prepare scope of work and request for quote for bid analysis - Perform the cabling installation work - Manage vendor to implement cabling installation work - Comply with change management policies and guidelines for cabling activities - Troubleshoot cabling issues with engineers - Assure cabling work
