Gerente de Turno (Shift Manager - Day), ATS (Amazon Transp. Services) Cajamar, Sao Paulo, BRA The ATS Sorting Center Shift Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and staff of a designated shift within a single Amazon Sorting Center facility. This position requires a deep understanding of sortation processes, safety protocols, and workforce management to ensure the efficient, reliable, and safe execution of sorting activities throughout the shift. The Shift Manager will collaborate with the Sorting Center Site Manager and cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, address operational challenges, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. Key job responsibilities - Oversee the execution of all sortation activities during the assigned shift, including inbound receiving, sorting, and outbound loading, in alignment with the Sorting Center's operational strategy; - Manage the shift's workforce, including supervisors, equipment operators, and support personnel, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, task assignments, and performance monitoring; - Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, operation of material handling equipment, and adherence to established procedures; - Monitor and analyze key performance indicators during the shift, such as sortation throughput, quality metrics, and safety incidents, to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies; - Collaborate with the Sorting Center Site Manager, Capacity Planner, and other functional teams to address operational challenges, resource constraints, or equipment malfunctions that may impact the shift's performance; - Lead the implementation of new technologies, automation solutions, and operational best practices within the shift, ensuring seamless integration and
