EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT , Retail Business Services Chennai, Tamil Nadu, IND ABOUT THE ROLE Amazon is seeking an experienced and highly strategic Executive Assistant to support a senior leader (VP, L10) within Retail Business Services (RBS) and serve as the Lead EA for the broader administrative team across the org. This role goes beyond traditional executive support - it is a demanding, high-stakes strategic leadership position. The EA operates as a force multiplier for the leader: thinking like the executive, not just executing tasks on their behalf. It requires exceptional organizational acumen, the ability to influence without authority, and a commitment to driving operational excellence across a matrixed, global organization. This role operates across multiple global time zones - including India, the US, and Europe - and requires high availability to respond to time-sensitive situations as they arise. While the role demands flexibility and responsiveness, it also offers meaningful autonomy in how and when work gets done outside of core commitments. The right candidate thrives in ambiguity, is energized by complexity, and brings calm and structure to a fast-moving, high-pressure environment. This role will not have direct reports but will provide oversight, mentorship, and coordination across the EA team within RBS, ensuring consistent, high-quality administrative support at scale.
