About this role
Electrical Maintenance Specialist, Amazon Leo Kirkland, Washington, USA Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Amazon LEO is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems. This role is hands-on and focused on rapid fault isolation, preventive maintenance execution, safe repair practices, and supporting team capability through on-the-job knowledge sharing. Work Schedule- Monday though Friday. 7am-3:30pm Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems to minimize equipment downtime • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, servos, conveyors, VFDs, PLC-connected equipment, and automation systems • Execute repairs on electrical systems in compliance with NEC and OSHA standards • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for maintenance and repair activities • Assist in electrical cross-training and peer mentoring of maintenance technicians • Partner with engineering and operations on equipment upgrades, repairs, and reliability improvements • Use troubleshooting skills to identify and prevent possible problems/failures, and to systematically and intelligently make repairs • Incorporate relevant technical literature into the understanding of system operation and coordinate efforts with other technicians involved in installing or maintaining equipment or components • Install, repair, adjust, and test equipment and components to ensure that systems function properly • Communicate
