This position will report to the Legal Director, EU Competition Law and advise the business and senior leadership on strategic matters, be responsible for competition-related enforcement and regulatory matters across Europe, and help shape the company's long-term strategy on highly relevant and novel issues. Key job responsibilities • Drive competition and related regulatory matters across the EU and member states while partnering with local legal teams. • Advise the business and legal colleagues on competition-related matters across all Amazon businesses in Europe. • Help shape the company's long term strategy on high impact and often novel issues. • Think Big and look around corners to spot issues and identify developments of relevance for the Amazon business. • Partner with our public policy team and engage with regulators and policy makers on a broad range of issues. • Contribute as a member of the EU Competition team to develop mechanisms for training, compliance, and cross-functional coordination.
