We are offering a unique opportunity for a talented and ambitious competition lawyer to work at the forefront of the most interesting and challenging competition matters. This position will report to the Legal Director, EU Competition Law and advise the business and senior leadership on strategic matters, be responsible for competition-related enforcement and regulatory matters across Europe, and help shape the company's long-term strategy on highly relevant and novel issues. Key job responsibilities • Drive competition and related regulatory matters across the EU and member states while partnering with local legal teams. • Advise the business and legal colleagues on competition-related matters across all Amazon businesses in Europe. • Help shape the company's long term strategy on high impact and often novel issues. • Think Big and look around corners to spot issues and identify developments of relevance for the Amazon business. • Partner with our public policy team and engage with regulators and policy makers on a broad range of issues. • Contribute as a member of the EU Competition team to develop mechanisms for training, compliance, and cross-functional coordination.
