About this role
Clinical AI Specialist, Clinical AI and Safety, Amazon Health Services San Francisco, California, USA We're looking for a clinician with a passion for technology to help shape how AI tools are developed, adopted, and integrated across our clinical organization. This role sits at the intersection of clinical practice and product development, with a focus on ensuring AI solutions work safely and effectively in real-world care settings. About the team You'll join the Clinical AI team at Amazon Health Services, working at the forefront of healthcare technology. The team partners closely with product and engineering to shape how AI tools are built and evaluated across the organization. Basic Qualifications: - Active clinical license (MD, DO, NP, or PA) with current or recent patient care experience in a primary care setting - Experience working with or evaluating clinical AI tools or health technology products Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with EHR systems, AI integration workflows, and AI evaluations - Experience in clinical informatics, health policy, or digital health - Prior involvement in AI evaluation, safety review, and governance processes - Comfort presenting to external audiences on clinical AI topics - Proven communication skills with the ability to engage both clinical and engineering audiences - Demonstrated ability to translate clinical workflows into technical requirements Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
