About this role

Business Analyst I, Verification Services/VS Bengaluru, Karnataka, IND Join VS Analytics to transform seller verification data into insights that power Amazon's global marketplace. As a Business Analyst I, you'll build dashboards and provide analytics that help product teams improve the registration and verification experience for millions of sellers worldwide. You'll work within established frameworks to deliver tactical analytics solutions using SQL and Amazon Quick. Your analyses will support team metrics and business decisions, helping stakeholders understand seller registration funnels, verification processes, and ready-to-launch metrics across the Registration and Verification Services organization. Key job responsibilities Build and maintain SQL queries and Amazon Quick dashboards to support business needs Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for straightforward analytics projects Develop understanding of VS Analytics data sources to solve defined business problems Design datasets that provide timely access to actionable business information Perform analyses to identify opportunities in registration and verification processes Create performance dashboards with key metrics for team review Handle multiple concurrent requests, prioritizing with guidance from senior team members Document analytical approaches including metric definitions, logic, and data sources Help train new peers on team processes and tools A day in the life Your morning starts checking overnight dashboard refreshes and reviewing any data issues flagged by the team. You write SQL queries to analyze verification funnel metrics for a product feature launch, consulting with senior analysts when you encounter unfamiliar data sources.
