About this role
Area Manager, Inbound Mumbai, Maharashtra, IND You provide tactical management; however, you are learning to be strategic. You are a tactical manager; ensuring each individual on your team has the right level of support to meet your operational and development objectives. You attract and hire bar raising talent who bring needed skills and expertise to the team.You are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the team as well as the management of the employees that report to you. You set the example for LPs. You effectively communicate your team's mission, vision, and priorities and help your reports see how their work contributes to organization goals and makes a positive difference for your customers. You hold regular team meetings to facilitate these conversations and proactively offer a forum for open discussion.You establish and own customized onboarding plans for new members of your team that help them learn the programs/products/tech, processes, and expectations in their role through rapid exposure and skill growth and development.You understand the skills, strengths, and opportunities on your team. We have a 5-day work week but given the 7 days a week operation, the 2 scheduled days off will vary based on shift patterns and business needs Basic Qualifications: - 2+ years of employee and performance management experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays Preferred Qualifications: - 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience Our inclusive
